Sydney Gaspar on Race, Racism, and Society

At CCIR Academy, Sydney currently is conducting her research project on Structural Racism, Maternal Mortality, and Potential Solutions. In this podcast, she will discuss how the role race plays in the outcome of childbirth, as well as its impact on each phase of pregnancy. She will also discuss the programs and policy that should be changed in order to level the playing field for systemically oppressed black women.
